Calendar

The Gawn year is divided into 15 months of 26 days each. (That comes out to 390 days a year, but the day on this planet is only about 22½ Earth hours, so the years are just about the same length.) The calendar is purely solar; the true lunar month is 27 days long. The year is also divided up into “weeks” of 5 days apiece, labeled “oneday,” “twoday,” “threeday” and so on. There is no “Sabbath,” and the week has little religious significance, but the fifth day is traditionally a day of meetings and trade.
